Mr. Riggins: 6 months old.

At six months old:

You have become quicker at your inchworm movement! When you see something across the room that catches your eye you kick it into gear and make your way to it. To the point that I've put you in your room to play and you've made your way to your sister's room because you can hear them in there playing. Time to put the Barbie shoes and rock collection away for a bit!

You’re in size 4 diapers and 6 months and 6-9 months sized clothes.

You’ve tasted brisket, beans (true Texan right there!), bananas, peas, and strawberries. But you kind of just chew it with your gums and move around your mouth the whole time and then push it out with your tongue.

You like to play peek-a-boo. We'll put your little swaddle blanket over your eyes and say "Where's Riggins?" and you rip it off and giggle like crazy when we say "Boo!" It never gets old - your laugh or the game!

You've also blown some raspberries at times and it's super cute. And you do this little squeal sometimes and when we do it back to you it becomes a game of doing it back and forth.

Still no sign of any teeth!

Your hair almost seems like it is lightening up a bit. Especially when the sunlight is on it; it has a bit of a reddish and blonde hue to it.

As silly as it seems - I have quite a few pet names for you! Buddy Boy, Mr. Riggins, Mister, and Mister Man are the usuals.

We all love you so much! Your big, blue eyes, squishy cheeks, and fuzzy head just kill me.

Happy half birthday, little man!
