Relaxing with Kennedy.

If you're not hungry, dirty, cold or hot then you're a pretty happy camper! We can set you down just about any where and you'll just look around and soak up the new sights, sounds and smells around you. It's fun to watch you experience new things.

One day when your dad got home from school, you had a good time sitting with him on the couch. It was super cute. Yesterday, you had a good time swinging in the hammock and you were so adorable doing it. Whenever you fall asleep and my arms get tired of holding you, I like to sit you in my lap - you fit so perfectly!

We just can't get enough of you, sweet girl!

A beard and a baby.

Well, we're back in Utah now, Cole's beard is no more and our sweet baby girl is already a month old!

Kennedy Lou, at one month:

Your eyes are light blue.

Grunting is your "thing."

You're still in newborn sized clothes.

You love baths and hate diaper changes.

Your arms have to be above your head when sleeping.

You have crazy, long fingers and toes.

On another note...

Unpacking and organizing while Cole is at work has proven to be a bit of a challenge with little miss Kennedy Lou needing my time and attention throughout the day, but I'm loving every minute of it even though there have definitely been challenges already. Being a mom is awesome!

Here are a few more pictures that show what little miss Kennedy Lou has been up to throughout her one month of life!

Cuddling with her dad, which melts my heart every time it happens.

We hung out at the pool a couple of times in Texas our last two weeks there.

She posed for the camera (or maybe I posed her for the camera...)

Bed time stories with dad.

This is hands down my favorite facial expression of hers.

She loves baths, but usually screams her head off when we're drying her off and rubbing her down with lotion since she's cold, but this time she was completely content so I had to take advantage of the opportunity and snap a few pictures.

Cheering on the Cougars against Texas!

She's so wide awake nowadays too, it's so fun!

I love that she's actually starting to look at you and you can tell she can see better now!

And here's a cute little video I took one day while she was just laying on our bed. We're so in love with this little girl!!
