Fathers, football and friends.

So maybe I'm a little over a week late to say this, but Happy Father's Day to all the wonderful men in my life!  I wouldn't be who I am without each of these guys and I love them oh so very much. Kennedy will for sure fall in love with these wonderful men, no doubt in my mind about that.

We were able to be in Childress for Father's day this year, which was a lot of fun!

Meet Coco...he's cute and innocent looking, but very destructive.

Allison enjoying a ride on the 4 wheeler!

Cole was playing in the dirt for a little bit. :)

Then he took Coco on a spin!

We had some yummy BBQ chicken, potato salad, beans and a yummy spinach and strawberry salad.

It was a beautiful day outside, so that's where we ate supper.

My sisters and I.

Homemade butterfinger ice cream. Always a good choice.

Kate's delicious homemade chocolate cake.

A couple of days ago I get this text from Cole...

And then this happened! I made him promise me he'd paint my toe nails when I was too pregnant to be able to do it myself and he kept his word.  He's the best, you should be jealous. :)

This one says "8-04" which is Kennedy's due date.
And this one says "KLG" which are Kennedy's initials.

He did pretty good huh?!

We've made some new friends here in Canyon, TX - the Barentine family! We go to church with them and we've really enjoyed getting to know them and their fun kids. Tip, Cassie, Pace, Shea and Jordin are their names and we love them!

Tip wanted to go to an arena football game in Amarillo, so we tagged along with him. Cassie, his wife, and their children are in Arizona visiting family right now while he's working so he's here by himself until this next week when he'll go out and join them for a little bit.

Life is good. We are so blessed.

Haircut, friends and tennis.

I cut Cole's hair for the third time a couple of weeks ago. I think I did better the second time than this time, but that's because we tried a new haircutting "method." I realize I don't have pictures of after the haircut, but I promise it's not because it's that bad. He's still as handsome as ever.

This picture makes me want to say, "Why so serious?"

Here are some fun pictures of Erin and Savanna trying out my new camera. Gotta love 'em. :)

My brothers stayed with us this past Thursday, Friday and Saturday night while my mom and Jeff were living it up in Vegas for the weekend since Jeff won a trip through his job. We played board games, they played video games while I was at work and we taught them how to play tennis - it was fun!

I look EXTRA prego in this pic, but I think it's just the angle it was taken at. I think...

Don't they look way excited to be in this pic??

Not much else to update on besides the fact that this Saturday will be the last day of my internship, which means I will be officially graduated from BYU. NBD.

Random tidbits of our life.

So I got a nice new camera with the generous amount of graduation money I was given so that I could better capture life's little moments and so that we'll be able to take beautiful pictures of our baby girl when she gets here! Speaking of her, we had an appointment this morning with Dr. Murdock, our OB/GYN here in Amarillo, who by the way is super sweet and wonderful so far, and we got a good report! Kennedy is quite the wiggle worm these days. There are times where we sit and watch my stomach appear as if ocean waves are passing through it, it's crazy!

Here are a couple of snap shots we've taken lately. I need to study up and find out how to work the camera and its many capabilities, but for now these will do. :)

Ree Drummond, otherwise known as the Pioneer Woman, has some uh-may-zing recipes and everything we've tried of hers has been a party in our mouths, no joke. This breakfast pizza of hers was exceptionally delicious. Definitely a keeper for our family.

Such beautiful colors!

The final, delicious product.

One night we sat out in the back of Goldie and watched the thunderstorms roll into the Texas Panhandle. We love seeing the lightning and hearing the thunder, so we made a little activity out of it and had a really good time!

These were taken as we were on a nice Sunday stroll with my brothers in Childress a little over a week ago.
I absolutely LOVE the sunsets here in Texas. They never cease to amaze me.

Check out the chairs we redid! We forgot to do a before picture, but we still have one, possibly two, more chairs to work on, so be on the lookout for those to see how awesome we are! :)

He does a nice Vanna White presentation, don't ya think? :)

And that's all we've got for now!
