Divine intervention.

A little over a week ago I was being a bit of a stink. Nothing new, right? :) Lately I've been in a bit of a funk and I wanna say it's because I've been stressed or for some other reason that is out of my control, but the more I think about it, the reasons are always within my control. I choose to be upset over things that really aren't that significant in an eternal perspective and the attitude I have makes such a difference.

Cole seems to always be the one that suffers the most from these happenings, which I hate, but it's true. On the same day that I was upset with him over a silly thing I get an email with a quote from our most recent General Conference. It said:

"We are not perfect. The people around us are not perfect. People do things that annoy, disappoint, and anger. In this mortal life it will always be that way. Nevertheless, we must let go of our grievances. Part of the purpose of mortality is to learn how to let go of such things. That is the Lord’s way. Remember, heaven is filled with those who have this in common: They are forgiven. And they forgive."

This was proof to me that Heavenly Father is very aware of what is happening in our lives. Both good and bad. He knew that I needed to have a change of heart and that I needed some divine intervention in my life and He made it happen.

Thank goodness for moments like these in my life.

I love my husband.

  1. I tried to find you on Facebook to wish both of you a happy anniversary and couldn't find you.

So here I am on your blog ... HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!

I hope this past year has been a wonderful year for the two of you and that the coming years will only get better as the two of you grow and learn to know each other.

Congratulations, and thank you once again for letting me spend your wedding day with you. :)

    1. Haha yeah, we deleted our Facebooks a while back - too much of a distraction!

Thanks for remembering our anniversary!! You really helped capture those special moments SO well, just a little over a year ago. :)

      Thank you!
